What is The Giboney Foundation

The Giboney Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in April 2020, with the mission of providing resources (financial via scholarships, experiential through access to internships, and mentorship) to underserved communities. 

Our goal is to support the next generation of leaders in exploring, pursuing, and advancing in various career paths where people from diverse backgrounds have historically been underrepresented.

Why your swing matters? Every Hole Makes an Impact

By donating to or participating in a Giboney Foundation event, you not only participate in amazing activities in memorable destinations, but proceeds also benefit minority students and young adults through scholarships, mentorship programs, and funding workshops that enable students to develop life skills as they enter the next phases of life.

Our two recipients of the Mary Giboney Memorial Scholarship, Mallory Butts and Zoe Shepard, are both students in their fourth and third years, respectively, at Spelman College. Mallory, a Chemical Engineering student, is finishing her stint as Ms. Spelman 2024, while Zoe, a pre-med major, has a 4.0 GPA!
